I live in a very lovely neighborhood within the City of Los Angeles called Echo Park.
As you can see by the screenshot above it was 48 degrees Fahrenheit in April.
Our normal morning temperature is a good degrees warmer.
At lunch time, we had pretty heavy rain at my building, and my neighbor (she lives 3 blocks up the hill), had hail. That is our normal January weather.
The wind has been blowing hard from the south all day, which is rare in itself.
In Los Angeles today, the only people wearing shorts were tourists.
In April, in spring, somehow we got Portland, Oregon’s weather, and this is just the beginning of the extremes. Climate Change means extremes.
Climate Change is not only here, but it is giving us a lecture on messing up the planet.
Can we go after the fossil fuel companies, the lobbyists, and the crooked politicians worldwide now? Greed is not good, but it sure seems to be lethal.
PS ..NY and NJ had a 4.5 or so earthquake today, which is a baby one. We only get impressed here if it is over a 6. I would be more afraid of future flooding if were you, Eastern Seaboard.
I live in Tucson. The wet season has always been July through September. Now it is the Winter and early Spring. Winter and Spring was always a good time for bicycling or hiking. Now, if not raining it is windy.
So I want to know who pissed off the Gods of Olympus prompting Zeus to bring these storm and Zephyrus never running out of breath.
